Security Features
Numerous security techniques, including several exclusive to Globe tickets,
are available to prevent counterfeiting. Check with your Globe
Representative to see which techniques are available for the ticket style
you choose.
Holograms - A 3-dimensional image that appears to move within its visual medium and
cannot be duplicated.
CopyProof® ink - A special ink used in the copy process that prevents color copying.
PearlTectedTM coated stock - An exclusive paper impregnated with a pearl coating that reflects a rainbow
of colors and cannot be duplicated.
BluePrintTM thermal sensitive stock - The thermal heat of your printer causes your variable data to appear only in blue.
Safety Center color coded stock - Two sheets of paper married together with
a color in between that is revealed when torn.
Foils - Metallic material placed on ticket in the printing process that can
not be duplicated through color copies or scans.
Invisible inks - Ink that becomes visible with the use of ultraviolet light
or a chemical solution.
Bar coding - A coded system that contains data read electronically.
Clearcote varnish - A clear image on face or back of ticket that can be
seen when moving ticket in the light, but cannot be duplicated without press
printing the ticket.
Proprietary inks - Inks used that when scratched, an image will either appear
or change color.
Safety papers - Watermark image imbedded in the paper and registering from
front to back of ticket.
Void pantegraphs - A "Void" or selected image appears in background of
ticket when duplicated.
Weather resistant stocks - Waterproof stocks derived from synthetics.
TRUEMATCH® - A random series of lines and circles along the ticket
perforation that provides authentication of duplex tickets when matched
together.
